Harlem Week 2011!!!

It may be the dog days of summer but the fun is just beginning in Harlem, USA. Tomorrow’s Economic Develpment Day marks the beginning of Harlem Week  The official beginning actually starts in July with the Gala held at Gracie Mansion. This year’s event was a star-studded affair, held out doors in Gracie Mansion. Mayor Mike Bloomberg was in attendance and a very gracious host for the event.

Tomorrow’s economic development day will be held from 10 to 3pm at Columbia University. It will be a day of networking, planning and business building and you all are welcome to attend.

There is such a wonderful array of events happening over the next few weeks that include concerts, basketball tournaments, tennis, fashion shows, lots of great food and vendors, performing artists, Historical Black Colleges and University fair, a really, really dope antique car show and parade and much, much more. I am listing all of the events below, check them out, go to a great movie, dance and enjoy Harlem at it’s best!!

The Harlem Greater Chamber of Commerce is producing this historic event and has been for many, many years.  Lloyd Williams and his team have created one of the largest, if not the largest festivals in America. Kuddos to  you Lloyd!!  Keep up the good work!
