Our last summer flings

Well, its September 1st and summer is at its end, so its time for us to have some of our last summer flings!! Of course New York City is the greatest city in the world and there are some great things going on most of the time. Here are some things you don’t want to miss out on doing before you get back to the daily grind of the fall and winter!!

The West Indian Day Parade is happening on Labor Day, September the 6th, from 11am to 6pm. It is the largest parade in New York and draws over 2 million people every year!!  If you want to experience Caribbean Culture, music, food, dance and excitement- go there.  Do get there early if you want to get a good place to see and experience the parade as it will be packed. Also pleasseeee get some of the food!!  Soo good.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is here from September 9 to 16th. The big tent is making its debut at Lincoln Center this year!!  Should be very exciting and interesting. I will be attending some shows off site and some on site. I happen to love the shows off site but each has its own flavor.  You get to see a lot of the new and up and coming designers off site. Will let you know about my adventures!

The US Open is happening now until September 12th out in Queens. Venus Williams is playing and all the other big names that we all know and love!!  I love the Williams Sisters!!  They are the best in game of tennis. So awesome watching them. Nadal is great also. Love him. Come out and take a  look. Go check it out at http://www.usopen.org for the schedule.

Have a wonderful day and be good to yourself!!

Love and Peace!!
